CleverCool B.V. was founded in 2015 and is an independent oral care product development and manufacturing firm based in Lijnden, near Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
We are experts in oral care product formulations including toothpaste, mouthwash, sprays, teeth whitening products, among others.

Edwin Winkel graduated University of Groningen, The Netherlands, in 1980. In 2000 he became a Doctor (Ph.D.) at the University of Amsterdam. From 1982 until 2002 he worked at the Department of Periodontology at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam. He is a founding partner of the Clinic for Periodontology Amsterdam (KvPA) since 1985. He started the first Halitosis Clinic in the Netherlands in 1997. He is widely published the development of clinical microbiology, the effects of systemic antimicrobial therapies in periodontitis, periimplantitis patients and the diagnoses and therapy of halitosis. Prof. Winkel is former Chairman of the Dutch Society of Periodontology (NVvP)). He is an active member of several committees within the NVvP and co- founder of the European Association of Osseointegration (EAO). He was Honorary Treasurer of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) from 2000 until 2007. April 2016, he stepped down as executive board member of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) and chairman of the External Affairs Committee. In 2016 he received the EFP Distinguished Service Award. He is an entrepreneur and brought several dental products successfully to the market.
